It will have you go down a road and tell you to turn right onto another service road that doesn't even exist anymore plus some. Since my husband and I were on a 6 day road trip we decided to try every logging road there was to find the easiest way (haha who am I kidding, this wasn't by choose and ended up causing a 2 minute fight because I wanted to go!) Do not use google maps to find your way there. And it takes 15-20 minutes to cut open even a small rock.Īs far as directions go, I read everyone else's reviews and knew a head of time that this place would be difficult to find and IT was. Which is extremely over priced especially if you live in the Portland area (you can find a rock cutter in every city) And if you feel bad for not using them to cut your rock open, just tip them and be on your way because if you do cut them there expect to be there for up to an hour or more especially if other people are there because they only have one cutting machine.
$1 a pound and $7 to cut the rock open (per rock). Not something my husband and I would do again but maybe if we were bored and our kiddos were with us and we had nothing better to do. My review is average because the place is an OK place.
